August New Game Preview: Baldur’s Gate 3, Gothic, Sea of Stars and More

0

Hello and welcome to the August New Game Preview.

This month is a feast for the gaming world, with a variety of types and styles of games to choose from. From turn-based RPGs to survival horror, from mecha action to diving adventure, from motorcycle racing to legendary wrestling, from soul-like slashing to strategy stealth, from the new work of the Heavy Rain producer to the revival masterpiece of Miyazaki the Thief, this month has surprises you can’t imagine, and also works you have been looking forward to for a long time.

Today we will recommend 18 new games worth paying attention to in August, so that you can find some good places to cool off and relieve boredom in this hot summer.

Baldur’s Gate 3:

First let’s take a look at the two games that will be released on August 3rd. The first one is the highly anticipated Baldur’s Gate 3. This is the sequel to the classic RPG series Baldur’s Gate after 20 years, developed by Larian Studios, the developer of the Divinity: Original Sin series. The game uses the fifth edition of Dungeons & Dragons rules, and tells the story of the player who is parasitized by an evil mind flayer worm, and searches for an antidote and the truth with other companions who share the same fate. The game has a huge and rich open world that can be freely explored and interacted with. There are up to 12 optional races and 6 optional classes in the game, each character has their own background and personality, and can have different relationships and influences with the player. The combat in the game is turn-based, and players can use the environment, items, magic and skills to formulate strategies. The game also supports up to four online cooperative modes, where players can adventure or compete with each other. Baldur’s Gate 3 is a very deep and highly free RPG game, which is definitely not to be missed for players who like Dungeons & Dragons or Larian Studios’ works.

Sea of Stars:

The second one is Sea of Stars with a runner-up attention number of 40,000 and highly anticipated turn-based RPG. It is a prequel based on The Messenger. The story tells of two children of knowledge who combine the power of the sun and moon, use eclipse magic, and fight against the terrifying creatures of an evil flesh mage. The game producer’s idea is to pay tribute to the classics in a modern way, from turn-based combat to ups and downs of the story, from world exploration to delicate environmental interaction, let everyone return to the good old days of nostalgic games in childhood. The combat in the game is very strategic rather than numerical. Climbing, jumping, sliding, pushing and pulling actions also make puzzles outside of combat rich and diverse. The plot part has dozens of character storylines, full of various unexpected twists and events. There are also traditional JRPGs such as sailing, cooking, fishing, tavern playing and other mini-games. As a JRPG lover myself, I can’t find any reason to refuse this work. As the finale of August’s game lineup, it is absolutely qualified.

Gothic:

Next, let’s take a look at the two games that will be released on August 5th. The first one is Gothic with a low attention number but a very unique style. This is a remake of the classic RPG series Gothic, developed by Alkimia Interactive, a newly established studio under THQ Nordic. The game uses Unreal Engine 4 to create, and has completely rebuilt and optimized the story, characters, scenes and systems of the original game to suit the needs and preferences of modern players. The game tells the story of the player who is imprisoned on a prison island surrounded by a magical barrier, and adventures and survives with other prisoners and various creatures. There are three different factions in the game, each with their own beliefs, goals and styles, and players can freely choose to join or betray any side. The combat in the game is action-oriented, and players can use various weapons, magic and items to fight enemies. The game also supports multiplayer mode, where players can explore the island or compete with each other. Gothic is a very classic and influential RPG game, which is worth a try for players who like open world and free choice.

Dark Artist:

The second one is Dark Artist with an attention number of fourth place and 60,000 attention degree, which has received good reviews. This is a first-person horror puzzle game made by a Chinese independent developer, inspired by Layers of Fear and The Unfinished Swan. The game tells the story of a painter who has lost his memory, and searches for his past in a mansion full of dark forces and bizarre paintings. There are multiple endings in the game, depending on the choices and actions made by the player in the game. The game uses Unreal Engine 5 to develop, and the graphics are very stunning, especially in terms of lighting and texture. The sound effects in the game are also very excellent, creating a creepy atmosphere. The puzzles in the game are also very clever, requiring players to use tools such as brushes, paints, canvases to solve them. The game also has a creative mode, where players can freely paint and create their own works in the mansion. Dark Artist is a very excellent and creative horror puzzle game, which is not to be missed for players who like art and thrill.
These are the four works worth paying attention to in early August, which are basically large-scale 3A-level or high-quality independent games. Next, let’s take a look at what games are worth paying attention to in mid-August.

Atlas Fallen:

On August 11th, there is an old-fashioned recommended game – Atlas Fallen. It has an attention number of 24,000 and was postponed for half a year before it was released. It is a work by Deck13, an old European manufacturer. After experiencing two relatively successful small 3A games – Lords of the Fallen and The Surge, they changed their style and no longer continued the slow and cautious soul-like combat, but changed to a large amount of flying over walls and high-speed movement, as well as air action and instant blocking slashing combat. The game levels are no longer interconnected, but semi-open maps with dense design and a lot of collection exploration elements. The game process is relatively conventional: kill elites to drop equipment, you can play online with friends. Generally speaking, the cake is well drawn. From the actual picture point of view, it looks very cool with hunting battles with large elite monsters and many skills. But considering that this is Deck13’s new attempt, there will definitely be many small problems. I will choose to wait and see with you.
Two games will be released on August 12th. The first one is Rise Like a Wrestler with low attention but very unique style. Although it looks like an action fighting game, it is actually a retro pixel-style turn-based RPG game that incorporates various wrestling moves into RPGs. Many soul figures in the wrestling world will appear in the game, and players can choose their own actions, slogans, entrance poses. The opponents in the battle are all kinds of weird things. Big Billboard has an old fan who is very interested in this work. It also looks fun indeed. If you are interested, you can download the demo to experience it.

I Am Future – Apocalypse Survival:

The other one is I Am Future – Apocalypse Survival with an attention number of 11,000. Players will build a warm and comfortable rooftop camp in a flooded end-of-the-world city, collect abandoned equipment, build bases, plant crops, catch fish, make food and upgrade automation technology. All survival elements are available in this game. The production specifications of this game are not low either; bright and comfortable graphics really bring out some sense of comfort for players in this end-of-the-world world. Recommended for all players who like survival games.

These are six works worth paying attention to in mid-August; they are basically independent games that have larger individual preferences for different systems. Next let’s take a look at some heavyweight works in late August.

Shadow Tactics: A Curse of the Zersecrew:

On August 18th there is a historical recommended game – Shadow Tactics: A Curse of the Zersecrew. It has an attention number of 14,000 and is a new work by Mimimi Games, the developer of Shadow Tactics and Desperados. It continues the classic top-down RTS stealth gameplay, but the game theme has changed from the western era to a fantasy pirate style. This allows the production team to be more bold in their design direction, and players can choose four of the eight pirates to perform tasks. Due to the addition of magic and upgrade talents, the differences between characters are greater, and the ways to pass the level are more varied, giving players plenty of imagination and also adding replay value to the maps that originally lacked replay value. This kind of design not only allows old players to enjoy more thinking fun in high difficulty, but also allows novice players to accept this game type faster. There are very few manufacturers who make this type of game, and Mimimi Games’ contribution to this type of game is indelible. Players who like step-by-step, strategy stealth games should not miss this work this year.

Immortals of a William:

On August 22nd, there is Immortals of a William. It was postponed from last month, and the attention number increased by more than 1,000. Maybe everyone is not very confident about EA’s new IP. My personal opinion is still the same; although the graphics are almost close to light pollution, they are not unacceptable. Being able to make a complete stand-alone game instead of an online service-type game is already considered as EA’s virtue. If you like FPS and prefer stand-alone stories, you can consider this work.

Fort Solis:

On August 23rd, there is Fort Solis. A third-person thriller adventure game. The game tells the story of engineer Jack Liri who came to investigate terrain alarms on a Mars space station. This space station named Fort Solis has no other staff except for a medical staff. As night falls, things become more and more strange. Whether Jack can find the truth and leave here alive depends entirely on the player’s choice. The game uses Unreal Engine 5 to develop; it seems to be the second proper Unreal Engine 5 game after Layers of Fear. The production team invited Arthur Morgan’s voice actor as face model; under the powerful engine boost, it should give players a sense of immersion like watching a drama. Players who like hard science fiction and thriller effects can pay attention to this work.

Well, the highlight on August 25th is here. There are a total of three games released that day, among which the most important one is Armored Core 6: Boundary of Ruby K with an attention number of 100,000 and runner-up in August’s monthly attention list; Miyazaki Thief’s revival masterpiece with soul-like slashing that never dies. The previous work Armored Core V released on PS3/X360 console in 2012 was known for its hardcore mecha setting and high difficulty.

The introduction of this work mentioned: “Based on From Software’s more than 25 years of mecha game technology, combined with other action games’ breakthrough game experience in recent years, it will bring players a powerful mecha combat in a three-dimensional stage.” Just this sentence has hooked up many players who tremble in front of soul-like games.

From the information revealed so far, there are two similarities: first of all, this work also has a similar posture gauge setting – impact gauge. When the enemy’s impact gauge is full, their posture control system will temporarily fail and enter a rigid state. This is the best time to pour out firepower. However, it is not clear whether we have an impact gauge setting. If both sides have this setting, then the basis of combat should be based on this. In addition, unlike the previous series’ lack of repair kit settings, this work comes with three repair kits initially, which is somewhat similar to Sekiro’s blood bottle. But this does not mean that the difficulty of the game will decrease; powerful enemies can often kill us in one hit. Anyway, From Software knows how to make players die.

But after all it is a mecha game; a large number of assault rifles, rockets, remote attack methods, as well as scanning systems that can detect blind spots and enemy positions in advance; Assault Boost system that can quickly sprint towards enemies etc., all make this work more prominent in terms of unique feel for mecha combat.

On the other hand; various parts set according to various characteristics on mechas can be freely combined and replaced by players. In addition to arm and leg parts such as drive parts; internal parts such as thrusters will also greatly affect the performance and movement of mechas.

Each mecha can hang four weapons on its hands and back; combine near and far distances for players to switch freely. To be honest; after reading the basic introduction you can feel why mecha games are also declining year by year; its complex hardcore content is indeed not very suitable for an era where fast food culture prevails. But From Software has its own magic power; it has cultivated a large number of Stockholm syndrome-like masochistic players. Big Billboard is no exception, so as long as Miyazaki the Thief dares to steal, I dare to do it. This work is also recommended to all old boys who love mechas. Let us say one last sentence: The soul of steel never dies!

The third work on the 25th is Ride 5. A motorcycle racing simulation game. Players can race on 35 tracks, collect more than 200 motorcycles from world-renowned car factories. In addition to the racing mode, the endurance mode will let you run continuously in changing weather, and master the perfect control skills of the vehicle on wet and dry grounds. Players who like realistic racing can try this work.

On August 29th, we recommend the 16th game – Under the Waves. It is released by Quantic Dream, the well-known interactive game publisher of Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls and Detroit: Become Human. It tells the story of a diving adventurer Dan who dives deep into the dark deep sea alone and searches for his past journey. Unlike the previous main narrative gameplay, this work focuses more on the player’s own manipulation of the protagonist to carry out underwater exploration. Players will collect materials in the city submerged by seawater, upgrade and transform submarines, in order to go deeper into the seabed. Collect fragments of memory and find out the truth of the city’s sinking. The game is immersive; players with deep sea claustrophobia and giant creature phobia should be careful; otherwise it is recommended.

Daymare Castle 1994:

Finally, there are two games on the 30th – Daymare Castle 1994. A third-person story-driven survival horror game that includes brutal survival mechanisms and hard-to-kill enemies. The game will show you the style of classic action, horror games and movies in the 90s. The dark scenes are full of weird creatures, coupled with creepy soundtracks, which will completely pull players into a terrifying abandoned military base. Recommended for players who like horror games.

Low Tone Platform:

The last one is Low Tone Platform with a runner-up attention number of 40,000 and highly anticipated turn-based RPG – Sea of Stars.

As a JRPG lover myself, I can’t find any reason to refuse this work either. As the finale of August’s game lineup, it is absolutely qualified.

The games in late August are too wonderful; I couldn’t help but say a few more words. This month is really rich; there are various types and styles of games to choose from. Which one are you most looking forward to? Welcome to leave a message in the comment section and tell me. Thank you for your support and reading; see you next time!

Top 10 Action Games on Steam You Should Play in 2023

0

Action games (ACT) are one of the most popular genres of games, thanks to their smooth combat experience, rich moves selection and gorgeous skill effects. While pure ACT games are not very common these days, there are still many excellent titles that offer rich action systems. In this blog, I will recommend ten action games on Steam that are worth playing. If you have any other favorites that I missed, feel free to share them in the comments section.

Devil May Cry 5

Steam rating: 95%

The Devil May Cry series is a signature of Capcom, the god of action games, and also one of the four ancient ACT games that have been highly praised by players for a long time. You can see how popular this game is by looking at the daily activities in the big sick area. Devil May Cry 5 features four playable characters, each with a unique combat logic and combo system, ensuring that players need to adapt for a long time after switching characters. It is quite challenging to pull off gorgeous combos, but once you get the hang of it, you will feel a sense of accomplishment that is unmatched by other games of the same type. The four different combat styles of the characters will refresh your understanding of action games. The dazzling air combat combos and the constantly rising ratings on the screen will keep you pumped up with adrenaline. If you are looking for a difficult and rewarding game, you can’t miss this masterpiece.

NieR: Automata

Steam rating: 86%

Please deduct one point if you play this game with automatic combat mode. Platinum Studio’s signature ACT game is Bayonetta, but Steam players can only play the first generation with slightly outdated graphics, so I have to recommend another one: NieR: Automata. This game attracted countless players with its dynamic combat process and story created by Venus before Miss 2B became a pillar on a certain site. You can switch between near and far attacks freely, face hordes of enemies and extremely challenging bosses, and enjoy the protagonist’s smooth actions and gorgeous appearance. You will also be immersed in the story created by Yoko Taro, as the entanglement between human-shaped robots, armies and mechanical life forms unfolds before your eyes. As the story progresses, a more shocking truth gradually emerges. If you like action games with exhilarating fights and also love deep stories, this game is perfect for you.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty

New Product Festival First Launch 10% Off

This is an action game with a dark Three Kingdoms theme created by Ninja Team after the success of the highly acclaimed NIOH series. This game has a refreshing action gameplay and also a not losing depth system that is very friendly to new players who enter the pit of action games. The five-star plus points system not only changes specific attributes for each line, but also increases health value and improves fault tolerance rate. The boss’s red light flashing prompt also greatly increases the player’s success rate of resolving attacks. The upgradeable weapons and equipment system, the setting that can increase morale by inserting flags, and the moderately difficult level design all greatly reduce the difficulty of operation for players during the game process. It is very suitable for novice players who want to try hardcore action games but are worried about the difficulty being too high. But players who want to increase the difficulty can also challenge more hardcore battles in two-week ranches. The optimization problem of this game’s PC version was finally fixed on March 8th. The experience of keyboard and mouse operation perspective has been greatly improved. Flashing white screens and game crashes that frequently occur on PC platforms have also been basically resolved. Players can consider whether to start after updating everyone’s evaluation.

God of War

Steam rating: 97%

Most players think of God of War as the PS platform’s old God of War trilogy, but the new God of War that came to PC in the next generation still has a very powerful action system. The dual weapon system of Leviathan Axe and THE BLADES OF CHAOS will bring you a new gaming experience. You will explore a new world from Olympus’ magnificent marble carvings and stone pillars to Nordic pre-Viking era forests, mountains and cave creatures, monsters and even gods. Our God of War also changed his former arrogance and unrulyness and embarked on the task of educating his son. If you can accept the new God of War with shoulder perspective, you will have a lot of fun playing this game.

Hi-Fi Rush

Steam rating: 98%

This is a very surprising action game in 2023. You may be exhausted by the sound waves and crowded crowds at music festivals, but in Hi-Fi Rush, the worst thing that can happen is that you are still dancing in your dreams even if you are a music game idiot. But in this game, you can still rely on your own understanding of action games to enjoy a smooth and rhythmic battle. In addition to the unique combat system, the super-kill original dubbing will also awaken the beast in your heart. Go wild with the super-strong golden song. Try to challenge the coveted S-level evaluation after you can follow the rhythm and hit the gorgeous beat, hit and display powerful special abilities. This game is still participating in the Three Kingdoms New Product Festival. You can enjoy a 10% discount with coupons. If you want to start, you may want to take this opportunity.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice

Steam rating: 94%

The winner of the 2019 TGA Game of the Year Award, Sekiro, deserves this honor. It does not stick to the Dark Souls, which has been recognized by players, but actively breaks the tradition and creates a new combat system around forging iron, so that the sound of ding-dong in your brain is endless for a while. In addition to the fast-paced combat style, Sekiro also added a ninja hand system to help you better challenge those tricky bosses. The integration of seeing through and blocking will become a sharp blade in your hands. I don’t think this game needs much introduction. This game is definitely a masterpiece for players who like action games.

Darksiders III

Steam rating: 76%

After three generations of changes, it has changed from the original combat puzzle game to a malicious soul-like style. Although the former unparalleled style is gone forever, Darksiders III still captures many players’ hearts with its rich map design and simplified collection elements and combat system. As the most unpredictable Fury among the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, you will return to the human world of disaster and make efforts to rebalance the forces of all parties. It is a pity that this generation of knights does not have their own love horses, but turning into Tarzan in the human world that has been ravaged and exploring freely is also a kind of fun. It was previously rumored that Darksiders IV is under development. I wonder if it can satisfy most players this time?

Monster Hunter Rise

Steam rating: 86%

Although there is a more high-definition Monster Hunter World on PC, Rise’s new flying insect system is really too easy to use, so that after trying out the extremely convenient ending, looking back at World is somewhat simple. But if you are a graphics party, World’s priority is still very high. After all, it can be said to be the best-looking work in the Monster Hunter series. Relying on the flying insect system, it extends out extremely powerful flying insect skills, which makes every weapon can be used crazy GP come greatly enhance effective output time. And you can freely switch insect skills style will also increase your bottom card when countermeasures. It is said that the next Monster Hunter will continue World’s high-definition and add more interesting systems based on this. It belongs to expectation value max.

Batman: Arkham Knight

Steam rating: 89%

As a representative of European and American action games, it currently sells at a very low price and relies on its excellent graphics performance and smooth combo system to make many high-production-cost games that sell for two or three hundred yuan look inferior. As the finale of the Batman trilogy, this game is also a perfect work that stimulates Unreal Engine 3’s potential. The newly added Batmobile system and combined with Arkham series’ widely acclaimed gameplay will allow you to enjoy punishing evil and promoting good in Gotham City. But I have to say that Riddler, you really deserve to die.

Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection

Steam rating: 81%

The Ninja Gaiden series can probably be regarded as an indispensable classic in the history of action games. Producer Tomonobu Itagaki restarted Ninja Gaiden, making countless players addicted to bloody violence in beautiful aesthetic scenes. At the same time, Ninja Gaiden II’s limb-breaking power storage soul-sucking system was added, which also made this series’ refreshing degree rise by one level. However, as an existence like a giant in action games, Ninja Gaiden GTC port version performance can only be said to be barely satisfactory. Many systems now look a bit outdated, but its solid feel is indeed worth trying for players.

These are ten action games on Steam that are worth playing. Due to limited time, I can’t introduce you to other excellent action games such as NIOH series, For Honor, Hades, etc. Of course, according to European and American manufacturers’ standards, many excellent FPS games are classified as action games. If you have any recommended works, please feel free to recommend them to other players in the comments section.

So sit back, relax, and enjoy reading this blog post. I hope you will find it helpful and entertaining.

PUBG: The Classic Battle Royale Game That Is Now Free to Play

When it comes to battle royale games, I think many people think of PUBG first. Although it is not the first game of this genre, it is undoubtedly the one that pushed it to the peak. It used to cost 98 yuan, but now it is free to play. It supports up to four players in a team.

Why You Should Play PUBG

Although PUBG has suffered from many problems such as rampant cheating, high game operation threshold, and competition from similar games, this game is still very popular. Many people say that PUBG is dead, but I think that’s not true. The game’s popularity has returned to normal levels after reaching a record of 3 million concurrent players. You can hardly find a second game in the whole gaming circle with such a high number. And now that PUBG is free, it still maintains a daily active user of about 300,000 on Steam. The game’s matchmaking waiting time is also very short. So this cold talk is obviously nonsense. After all, the data is in front of us, and all the rumors are self-defeating.

Why do I recommend this game to you? First of all, PUBG’s cheating problem is not as serious as before. Although there are still some, but overall it is much better than in 2019. Secondly, the game’s threshold has been lowered. You have to know that this game didn’t have bots before, and the game’s threshold was very high. For new players, it was very normal to be killed by old players all the time and not kill anyone for half a day. That’s why I bought this game and threw it in the warehouse to eat dust soon after. But now that the game has added bots, it can basically improve the player’s gaming experience and let them get familiar with the gun trajectory and game operation. Generally speaking, the entry threshold is much lower than before. You can play PUBG here: PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS (steampowered.com)

What Makes PUBG Fun

Thirdly, this game is very enjoyable to play sometimes. We don’t have any other purpose, just for our own pleasure. I have to say that Xi Ba understands our Asian male preferences very well in some aspects. Every time I wait for a match, I dance and attract a lot of people to watch. I feel like a star in an instant. And if you are willing to turn on the microphone and talk, there will be many male friends who will add you as friends. So you know what I mean, right?

Apex Legends: The Battle Royale Game with Skills and Teamwork

Speaking of battle royale games, how can we not mention this one that is currently popular all over the country? Yes, it is Apex Legends. There are many reasons why I recommend this game to you. Not only because of its great shooting feel and smooth action, but more importantly, this game is different from traditional battle royale games.

How Apex Legends Is Different

Its game characters have skills and roles. This greatly increases the game’s operation ceiling and team cooperation tacit understanding. Although everything depends on your shooting skills, but if you use your character skills reasonably, you can make your attack more efficient and even 1v3 is not impossible. And even if your shooting skills are not good, you are good at using character skills, you can also create a lot of advantages for your teammates in combat.

Another feature of the game is the armor evolution system. Compared with traditional battle royale games, Apex seems to follow the idea of “I control my own destiny”. Even if you are unlucky all the way and don’t see any purple armor or even blue armor, as long as you go to fight, you can still turn your white armor into blue armor, purple armor or even red armor. This also shows that the game encourages players to fight with each other.

What Makes Apex Legends Fun

The new version of the poison circle change also makes the game’s combat rhythm faster. This faster means that there are still seven teams left in the last circle. This season’s poison circle system change really makes me wonder if the designer’s brain is not fully developed. I suggest changing it to die as soon as you touch the poison. If it wasn’t for the sake of this recommendation video today, I would have made a video to rant about this season’s content changes. In general, Apex Legends is still very fun to play and I recommend you to try it out. The feeling of soaring blood pressure is more exciting than playing 20 roller coasters.

Valorant: The Shooting Game That Combines Overwatch and CS:GO

If you often play games like CS or CF, then I believe you will be very good at playing this next game. It is the new shooting game developed by Riot Games, Valorant. Especially its American comic style and low configuration requirements. And Riot Games said when developing this game that all computers can run it smoothly and there will be no cheating at all. You can say that these two points are not something that anyone in the gaming circle dares to say.

Why You Should Play Valorant

But from my nearly 500 hours of gaming experience, I have not encountered a single cheat. And basically none of my friends around me said that their computer couldn’t run this game. Of course, whether it is their publicity gimmick or not, we mainly have to look at the game’s content.

Valorant is mainly based on 5v5 attack and defense switching mode. It also has individual competitive and entertainment modes. The game’s combat rhythm is very fast and it requires a lot of team cooperation. Each character has different skills and roles. If you want to play this game well, you have to use your character’s skills well.

What Makes Valorant Fun

The smoke and flash in the game are all agent skills, and different characters have different angles and ways of releasing them. For example, Phoenix’s flash is curved, and if you don’t play well, you will always flash yourself. Simply put, it is Overwatch plus CS:GO. But after playing it, you will find that it is not as simple and crude as I said. The game’s design is very clever in many aspects, such as weapon and character skill balance and map design. And it also keeps updating and repairing to highlight the balance. This is also a good thing brought by the full e-sports.

The fast combat rhythm of the game is reflected in the game preparation stage. You can directly walk to the enemy’s point gate. There is an air wall at this time. After the countdown is over, you can directly enter the point and start fighting. It directly saves some running time. Basically, it starts fighting as soon as the countdown ends. It can be said that it is a very interesting innovation.

How to Join Valorant Community

If there are any friends who want to join the pit, but want to find someone to lead the team, what should they do if they don’t have anyone? You can directly join our open black group and we can find a team for you at that time. It should be much better than playing alone.

World War 3: The Hardcore Version of Battlefield and COD

The fourth game is the one we mentioned in our previous video, which was re-released after being sold out and claimed to compete with Battlefield. It is World War 3, the hardcore version of Battlefield and COD. This game was supposed to be paid for, but now it is also free.

Why You Should Play World War 3

After being remade, I played it for a while and I can say that it is much better than before. There are all kinds of vehicles available, and the graphics are very good. You can freely equip weapons with low ttk, which I personally like very much.

There are currently two modes: team deathmatch and large-scale conquest. There are about four maps available. The actual feel of the weapons is okay, but the game optimization is poor, the character movement is slightly stiff, and the operation feel is worse than 2042 but better than COD 18. You can weigh it yourself.

What Makes World War 3 Fun

The game as a free Battlefield and playing with friends is completely fine. There are killstreak rewards, vehicles, free equipment accessories, in-game support modification, armor system and weight system, team damage and so on. Generally speaking, it belongs to a light hardcore shooting game. After all, it is a Russian game, so it has to be a bit hard.

Fortnite: The Most Amazing Game with Everything You Can Imagine

The last game I want to recommend to you is Fortnite, which I have been playing all the time. This game is the most amazing one I have ever seen in all games because it can cross over with anything. Whether it’s DC Marvel’s superheroes or Biochemical King of Fighters and other series of game characters, or even many movie characters, they are all included.

How Fortnite Is Different

Here you can see Thanos dancing, Jedi playing saxophone, Naruto and Sasuke shooting guns, and Sasuke is still good at using them.

There are a lot of weird things in the game. The game is not very demanding on shooting skills, but more on the player’s building skills. You often shoot at someone and they immediately build a skyscraper from the ground. If our construction team can use this efficiency, the real estate developers will probably laugh in their dreams. You can say that the game’s ceiling is very high.

What Makes Fortnite Fun

At the same time, the game’s entertainment level is also very high. Can you imagine a battle royale game where you can build houses, fish and plant trees? 90% of the items in the game can be destroyed, which is also a kind of powerful physical destruction effect. The items in the game are also very strange, and each season has different themes and items. Even the gameplay of each season is different. It’s very interesting. Playing with friends is a lot of fun.

The game also has a paid PvE mode and a free creative mode. There are many maps and gameplay made by players themselves in Happy Island, which have a lot of freedom. The skins are very nice, the effects are very cool, and the price is very reasonable. Often a character can change different colors after buying it. If it were some other manufacturers, they would have to split it into more than a dozen color skins to sell. I know who this game is, but I won’t say it.

Best Gaming Monitor: Mobius EX3210U Display

In conclusion, Fortnite is definitely the most interesting game I have played in recent years. It has a lot of innovative content and gameplay, and the game’s ceiling is very high. With its cartoon style, it is definitely worth a try. But no matter how fun the game is, if you don’t have a good monitor to display it, it’s like eating watermelon without a spoon. It’s not annoying.

The monitor I’m using recently is from Mobius brand, which is based on this idea. It combines various functions to bring players a more immersive gaming experience. Therefore, I recommend their flagship model EX3210U display.

Why You Should Choose Mobius EX3210U Display

It has a 32-inch IPS super large display screen with pure white back panel color and line sense. It is very eye-catching and adds a sense of high-end while feeling e-sports. It is equipped with DP 1.4 interface and full-blooded HDMI 2.1 interface. You can use whichever you need.

While providing 4K resolution limit, it also has a maximum frame rate of 144Hz. This way, even if you use the upcoming 4000 series graphics card, you don’t have to worry about performance waste.

How Mobius EX3210U Display Enhances Your Gaming Experience

The games I recommended above mostly involve finding enemies in complex scenes and locking and killing them. The monitor acts as the player’s eyes and is very important. After turning on the EX3210U’s built-in Game HDRi mode, you can observe the enemy more clearly in the field of view.

It is different from the overexposure and excessive loss of details caused by traditional HDR mode. It is more balanced and presents more dark details. The old yinbi hiding in the grass and under the tree are exposed without any doubt.

Playing 3A games with 4K can also enjoy the original picture quality closer to the game. Of course, different people have different preferences. In addition to three built-in HDRi modes, there is also a custom adjustment function of Light TA. You can adjust it according to your preferences and make your black eyes shine directly. It’s like a built-in physical cheat.

What Else Mobius EX3210U Display Offers

Speaking of EX3210U’s gaming-related enhancements, what surprised me was that it actually built-in 2.1 channel speakers. This is very intimate for players who don’t have much space or don’t have separate gaming speakers.

So such a display that starts from the player’s experience and makes it better to explore the fun of the game is very worthy of your choice.

That’s all for today’s blog post on online games recommendations: 5 free games to play in 2023. I hope you enjoyed reading it and found some games that suit your taste. Paleo Pines: A Farming Game with Dinosaurs

Introduction

Today, I want to recommend a farming game called Paleo Pines that has been launched on multiple platforms. Unlike traditional farming games, this one involves farming with dinosaurs instead of chickens or cows.

Gameplay

You can have your own dinosaur companion that not only becomes your friend but also serves as your mount. You can explore the forest, cross bridges, and traverse grasslands with your dinosaur. By playing the flute, you can connect with your dinosaur and make it join your home. It takes care of tasks like plowing and planting, eliminating the need for irrigation systems. Your dinosaur can easily water the crops with its mouth. No more toiling over stones or worrying about irrigating the fields.

In town, you can make friends with residents, purchase furniture and materials, and experience dedicated storylines. Customize your character’s appearance and show off various outfits. The game features different seasons, temperatures, plants, and dinosaur species.

Availability and Price

It will be available on multiple platforms, including PS4, PS5, Xbox, PC, and Switch, with a targeted release date of September 26, 2023. The PC version’s pricing is yet to be announced, but other platforms and Switch are available for pre-order at $29.9, approximately 210 Chinese yuan. International users can pre-order from various shopping platforms like Amazon, Target, Walmart, and more. PC games typically have a lower price than console games, with Steam currently offering a free trial for 2-3 hours of gameplay. The overall experience is quite impressive; interested players can download and try it themselves.

Features and Style

Paleo Pines is a casual simulation game focused solely on farming and farm design, without marriage or romance systems.
